TEGU 14x7 Snare

The Drumzilla Tegu 14x7

Built for players who demand character in every crack and warmth in every ghost note, the Tegu Series represents Drumzilla's commitment to handcrafted excellence. This 14-inch diameter, 7-inch deep snare pairs a 10-ply shell with a substantial voice, focused projection, and the sensitivity to bring quieter passages to life. From a deep backbeat to delicate ghost notes, your Tegu is built around your sound.

Choose Your Wood

The Tegu is offered in four premium shell woods, each with its own sonic identity:

• Mahogany — warm, full-bodied tone with a rich low-mid presence and smooth attack. Ideal for studio work and groove-heavy playing styles.
• Walnut — dark, complex, and articulate. Walnut produces a deep, woody crack with exceptional sustain and a tone that commands attention.
• Birch — bright, punchy, and precise. Birch delivers crisp attack with a clean, open sound that projects powerfully in live settings.
• Cherry — balanced and musical, sitting between mahogany and birch. Cherry offers a warm attack with a focused midrange and natural sustain.

Configure Your Hardware

Choose triple flanged (TF) hoops for classic feel and an open response, or die cast (DC) hoops for a more focused attack and solid rimshot feel.

Build options include five lug styles: single-end round, double-end round, standard double-end tube, single-end tube, and cylindrical-post tube. Contact Drumzilla before ordering for a configuration not shown in the selectors.

Chrome, Brass, and Black hardware support all five lug styles with TF or DC hoops. Special finishes are limited to compatible combinations:

• White — TF hoops with standard double-end tube or single-end tube lugs.
• Satin — DC hoops with standard double-end tube or single-end tube lugs.
• Aztec Gold — DC hoops with standard double-end tube lugs only.
