Choose Your Wood

The Tegu is offered in four premium shell woods, each with its own sonic identity:

• Mahogany — warm, full-bodied tone with a rich low-mid presence and smooth attack. Ideal for studio work and groove-heavy playing styles.
• Walnut — dark, complex, and articulate. Walnut produces a deep, woody crack with exceptional sustain and a tone that commands attention.
• Birch — bright, punchy, and precise. Birch delivers crisp attack with a clean, open sound that projects powerfully in live settings.
• Cherry — balanced and musical, sitting between mahogany and birch. Cherry offers a warm attack with a focused midrange and natural sustain.

• Triple Flanged (TF) Hoops — classic feel, sensitive response, and crisp rimshot tone
